MC Yan, the talented rap artist from the controversially successful, but now disbanded hip-hop group “LAZYMOTHAFUCKA” (LMF). Born in Hong Kong in 1971, whom studied in France before returning to Hong Kong in 1997. MC first participated in the HK rock/rap band called N.T. (New Territories) in 1994 as the lead vocalist and joined the LMF in 1998 as the vocalist/lyricist/rapper. MC Yan is recognised as one of the first artists to rap in Chinese in Hong Kong rock/hip-hop history. Since the Hong Kong Coliseum incident on 1997, he has been described as a highly provocative individual in the Hong Kong music scene. During his musical career he has worked with DJ Tommy, Michael Lau and Lazy Clan. MC has also done some crossover songs for Ronald Cheng, William So, Sammi Cheng, Miriam Yeung, Paul Wong, Kelly Chan, Wong Chau Sang, Deanie Ip, Wong Ka Keung and Karen Mok.
