paisley - hu bei wei


Paisley studied Italian opera from a professional tutor in Shanghai from the age of 12 to 17.  Then she met "TATS LAU" who was at the time within the group called "TAT MING YAT PAI". He produced Paisley’s first mandarin jazz album titled "YESTERDAY TODAY TOMORROW". In that album they worked with the famous "OLD JAZZ BAND" from the “Peace hotel” in shanghai. In 1994, Paisley went to San Francisco to learn R&B  singing technique from an black American, Mr. "HOREST" and was also trained by legendary jazz teacher, Miss "FAITH WINTHROP".

After she came back to HK in 1997, Paisley signed with the label Cine-Poly and released her second album which was in Cantonese.  She had the great opportunity to work with the sensational producer "PAL". In 2002 she released her third album in Taiwan titled  "STOP LOVE" which is an easy listening mandarin pop album.

During her musical journey she had many chances to co-operate with many talented musicians such as "DJ Tommy" and 

Paisley was the vocalist in two of his albums.  Paisley was also featured in Edison Chan’s latest album (Please Steal my album) and was the vocalist for the song “War”.

She is now, signed under the label J-Sonic and expected to release her album in September 2007.

At the present time Paisley is hosting 5 programs for TVB & TVB 8, "GLOBAL RHYTHM". "E-NEWS FRONT" . "MANDARIN MOD TOP 10" . "MANDARIN MUSIC ON DEMAND" . "MUSIC ON FIRE"
